While some of the results of the searches yielded the some of the same sources, a lot of them are different. I usually use Google as my search engine, because its been my experience that it gives me the most liable resources, but don't take my word for it. I am sure others would think something different.

Introductory Blog

Just letting you know a little bit about myself. My name is Christopher Miles. I am a senior at Georgia State University majoring in Computer Information Systems. I just finished up my 4 years as a member of the Georgia State's Track and Field team where I was a sprinter and team captain.

As a student, I have used the following Web Communication tools:
1. Email- I use this daily as it is the primary communication tool for professors to reach students and well as for groups to communicate when not in class.
2. Facebook- I am sure just about every students uses or have used it sometime in their life. I use Facebook to keep up with friends all over the country.
3. Oovoo- I have recently started using this to video chat with my girlfriend who goes to a different college.
4. Twitter- I have recently began to use twitter but I am not sure how long I will do this. I do not have something to say every minute of my life. LOL
5. Youtube- I watch videos from here all the time from how to videos to funny clips in my spear time.

There are also web communications that I would like to try in the future:
6. Google Docs- I heard that this is a good way for groups to edit papers without having to email back and forth. Sounds like it will save a lot of time
7. Blogging- I have never really been interested in blogs but they seem to be something that would be easy to create and be a part of.
8. Instagram- I do not personally take pictures but many of my friends share pictures through this and I would like to see them, so I may have to look into this.

Most of these tools are used more for social things rather than education, but things like Google docs and email are things that make it easy for students to collaborate and work faster and more efficient.
